Our team is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our friendly and dynamic work environment where your expertise will directly impact our innovative products. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising Deltrol’s inspection and supplier qualification processes along with developing and implementing quality processes and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate and improve the quality of our products. As a Quality Engineer, you will have the chance to drive quality initiatives, conduct rigorous testing and inspections, and provide valuable feedback on product design and functionality. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and procedures.
- Conduct inspections and tests to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Identify areas for improvement in the production process and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to review product specifications and processes.
- Analyze quality data and prepare detailed reports on findings and trends.
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and non-conformities to prevent recurrence.
- Facilitate training sessions for team members on quality practices and techniques.
- Review of testing reports to ensure quality.
- Responsible for defining quality concepts and quality processes, including Six Sigma basics, cost of quality, etc.; applying quality tools, interpreting information and data, and applying team concepts as both a team member and leader.
- Collect, organize, monitor, and distribute information related to quality and process improvement functions.
- Conduct quality, supplier, and good manufacturing practice audits.
- Provide support to the Quality Manager, and act as backup as needed.
- Create a safe work environment by adopting and following the Company safety manual and regulatory requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience (5 years min.) as a Quality Engineer or similar role in the industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and quality control tools.
- Current or prior hydraulic and pneumatic is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
